They say that people wear make-up because they want to be the better version of themselves and it is a way for them to express and bring out the femininity side of them through wearing make- up, it is also used as a beauty aid to help build up the confidence and improves self- image of an individual.


Now a days make up plays a vital role not only for women but as well as for men who have become conscious about their looks, but what do those people who put on make up to other people think about it. Aman Razalan is one of the artists that give women most specially the confidence they need and enhance the beauty that they have, he gives so much passion to everything that he do, he loves make up and making people beautiful, his love for these things makes his work a masterpiece, it isn't just make up, it is also a part of every girls' biggest day, a memory they'll treasure for the rest of their lives and Aman is like those make up looks he have created, he always leaves a mark to those people whom he encounters because he isn't just passionate in make-up but also enjoys being with other people.



Aman Razalan, a freelance make-up artist since his junior years who has established his own name in the field of make up at a young age with the help of hard work, passion, and determination, shared his know-how and experiences about the field he has chosen. He mentioned that putting a moisturizer is a must before applying any product on one’s face because it is not just great to help hydrate the skin but it can also be the perfect base for make-up application and with the right moisturizer ones skin can look flawless and helps make up to stay on all day long. Furthermore, he stated that the common mistake that every women do is applying too much foundation for their desire to have gorgeous and flawless skin, he advised that it is best to start with a small amount blending from the center of the face outwards.


In applying eyeshadow, he specified that it is better to experiment colors but making sure it complements with the type of make-up look they want to achieve. When asked the most challenging client to do make up on, he answered that brides are the most perplexing and frightening client because they are afraid to make a slip- up for they do not want to ruin one of the most memorable day of their life, that is why as much as possible they are careful with their bridal make up look. He also said that it is not advisable for people to buy fake brands which could possibly damage ones skin.


Moreover, Aman Razalan advised for the aspiring make up artists to learn how to accept constructive criticisms for them to grow and recuperate their skills in their chosen field as well as to identify the areas which needs improvement. Also, when asked if he would still pursue doing make up after he graduate Mass Communication, he responded that if other opportunities open its doors for him he would go for it, but he sees himself as a make up artist in the future.


Through his hard work, perseverance, determination to climb his own mountain, and passion, he eventually made it to the path where he is destined to despite all the hindrances and discrepancies he encountered throughout his journey, indeed, “hard work pays off”, nobody was meant to stay in a particular situation permanently given that change is inevitable. He also said, “kumikita na nga ako, nagagawa ko pa passion ko”, this imparts that embracing what you love to do will lead you to your own paradise.
