PURSUE YOUR DREAMS - IRHEL HENRIL SECILLANO

Mr. Secillano is a graduate of AB Communication in University of the Assumption. Currently employed as a Multimedia Content Creator at GV Radios Network Corporation also working as a part time DJ for the same corporation at GV 99.1 and a cameraman for GVAM 792. But he first had a job at a BPO Company while he was studying.

According to him he found his job at the internet. As a DJ, for him he knew that creativity and editing skills are also a must to get the job because being a DJ it's not just about the voice, it is also about you, being well acquainted with the trending songs, dances, genre or different types of music and a huge appreciation for music for you to surpass this job.

In facing challenges, he says that a problem will always be a problem if you will nit face it. Focus on the things that you can do to solve the problem rather than about what you cannot do. Problems may come in different ways but Mr. Secillano says that there is no such thing as uncommon problem, but if there is you have to assess the problem and start solving it. In his personal life/job, he believe that his weakness is his creativity. Creativity is a must in his field of work but he believes that creativity doesn't come from a single person it comes from collective experiences coming from different people.

And his advice for the students who want to have the same profession as him is "Go for it! The thing about pursuing this profession is that we tend to be scared of failure. Failure is only a part of your progress and does not define who you are. How you rise up from failure is who you are. Not failure itself – unless you choose to fail. That’s all!
